I thought so, too, Andrea. Wish I knew what s/he is. At first I honestly thought it was a wood shaving from somewhere! I think my husband ordered your ghost book for me from Amazon; I sure hope it’s waiting for me when we get back from our Western vacation.
It was definitely neat, Andy. Though I love all your food photos! I’ve already eaten my first taste of vacation food. Prickly pear candy. It was quite good, but I was too impatient to take a photo. 🙂 Maybe later.
Prickly pear candy! I’m looking it up as it’s something I’ve not yet had 🙂 Thank you for your sweet support on my photos! ^.^/
Andy, if you feel comfortable, e-mail me your postal address and I’ll mail you a couple packages of it when I get back home next week.–[wordsmithery[dot]emailATgmail[dot]com]
Gosh, I wish I did. I might be able to research it when I’m back to my home library. I thought it was a wood-shaving at first and it didn’t want to leave my hand and my arm. It would be awesome if someone I knew what it was saying with its tiny antennae and/or legs, unless it was “hey, can we eat this massively large moving object”? 🙂
Sarah, that’s exactly what I thought at first, like it was a wood shaving or something. It really liked my hand and arm. I had to physically, as lightly as I could, pinch it and put it onto the table. I shook and it would not leave!
It’s a very pretty bug…
